This is the Salvo Sports Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy" or "Policy"). This Policy sets out how Salvo Sports collects, uses, share, and protects personal information. In this Privacy Policy, when we refer to "Salvo Sports” we mean Salvo Sports LLC and any subsidiary and affiliated companies. Any reference to “us” or “we” is a reference to Salvo Sports.

This Policy applies to your use of our websites, games, apps, and products. If you do not want us to collect or use your information as explained in this Policy, you should not use any of the Salvo Sports Services. OUR GAME(S)

Salvo Sports owns and operates a game which can be played by means of a website and/or a downloaded app. When you use our Services, such as interacting with us or playing our game, we collect information about you. Most of this information comes directly from you or your device.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you download and play our game via our website or app, visit our website or use our other Services, we collect information about you. We collect this information to create your account and facilitate gameplay, enable in-game purchases, and provide technical support. We also collect this information for other purposes as explained in this Privacy Policy.

The information we collect may include information such as your email address and other personal details that you provide to us. It also includes technical information about the device you use, such as the type of device you are using and your IP address. In addition, it may include information about your gameplay, such as the level you have reached in a game. 

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION?

There are a variety of ways that we may collect information about you. Generally, we collect information directly from you, though there are some third parties who may provide us with information with your permission and we also collect some information automatically when you use our Services. Below are some examples of the ways in which we may obtain information:

• From your sign up and logins to the Salvo Sports game or other accounts operated by Salvo Sports;

• From gameplay or your other activities on our Service (for example the length of sessions, progress, and other game events);
• From integrations with Social Media and other platforms' Accounts;
• From advertisers whose adverts you visit;
• From contact lists that you or your friends share with us;
• From Payment Providers (to process in-game purchases);
• From interactions with Salvo Sports (including our account managers and customer service);
• From in-game chat with other players;
• From attendance at our Events or other players activities; and
• From marketing activities such as surveys, focus groups and sweepstakes.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

The information that we collect depends on how you use and interact with Salvo Sports. When you use our Services, we may collect and process information such as:

• Your first and last name;
• Your Salvo Sports username(s);
• Your email address;
• Your phone number;
• The password you use to create your Salvo Sports account;
• Your Profile Photo (if you choose to provide one);
• Biographic details that you provide to us such as your gender, birthday and/or age;
• The approximate location from which you access our Services;
• Details about the device from which you access our Services, such as your IP address and device type;
• Your Salvo Sports rewards account activity, points, progression, and status, if any;
• Information you provide to help us confirm your identity and make sure it is you accessing your account;
• Information you share directly with us such as in response to a survey or ticket submitted to our support team; and
• Information collected via your gameplay, for example information about how often and when you play, participating in forums, interacting with other players, and inviting non-players to our Services through our “Affiliate Program” which incentivizes you to recruit new players to Salvo Sports.

We may also receive some information from third parties who share your information with us including:

• Third parties (for example Google or Apple), who connect to our games for log-in services or sharing of your achievements, such as your ID number for the platform, your friends list, your first and last name, your profile picture and URL, your gender, birthday and/or age, email used to log-in to the third party service and any other information that you or the third party share with. If you are unsure what information a third party is sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies and your account settings;
• Third party platforms with in-app purchasing services, (for example Apple and Google) to enable us to process your payment for purchases, for example what you have purchased, and when you purchased it. If you are unsure what information a third party is collecting and sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies  and your account settings. 
• Third party platforms that provide us with payment services (for example Braintree, PayPal or Adyen) to enable us to process your payment for purchases, for example what you have purchased, and when you purchased it. In some instances, we may also receive additional information provided at the point of purchase. If you are unsure what information a third party is sharing with us, please consult their privacy policies and your account settings. • Third party cookie and advertising information about your device, browser, and/or activities, such as the type of device you are using, your device’s operating system and version, your browser type, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks on a page or feature, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages. We might connect this information with other information we have about you, in particular with your social network ID and/or Salvo Sports user ID; and
• We may receive your information if it is shared by your friends or family in order to invite you to our Services. Your friends and family are responsible for obtaining your permission before they share your information with us.

Salvo Sports may periodically operate in-person and/or online events or other activities or initiatives ("Events"). These Events are exclusive and invite only. If you register and/or attend an Event organized by us, we may also collect information such as:

• Contact information such as physical address, email address, phone number;
• Photos and/or videos of you taken during the course of the Event;
• Information about your attendance at the Event;
• Information about the gameplay that you participate in at the Event;
• Information you share with Account Managers and other Salvo Sports members of staff; and
• Other information required to facilitate the Event.

WHY DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION?  WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?

We collect information for various purposes including to create your account, facilitate and personalize your gameplay experience, enable in-game purchases, and provide technical support. We also collect information to allow you to connect and communicate with friends on our app, tailor advertising to your interests, and to operate, improve and optimize our Services, Events, and marketing activities. Below you can find further details on some of those purposes.

Salvo Sports will only collect and use your information when the law allows us to. There are different lawful bases for us to collect and use information, depending on the laws that apply to you based on where you live and use Salvo Sports. Services from. The most common lawful bases that we rely on to collect and use information are where:

• You have given us your consent;
• It is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations to you;
• It is necessary for our or a third party's legitimate interest that is not overridden by your fundamental rights; or
• It is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

Account Registration and Maintenance

We may use information to set up and register an account in our games or sign-in to create an account with different methods. We may also use information to manage your account, such as to enable us to secure your account, verify your identity and enable the functionality of your accounts with us.

Account information (including both social media integration and accounts direct with Salvo Sports) is also used to maintain the security and cross-platform and/or devices use of our games.

Gameplay

We use information to enable us to optimize and provide our games to you. This includes using information about your gameplay and purchases to tailor our games to you, which may be in the form of in-game gifts, promotions and features in the game. We use those parameters because we believe they play a significant role in determining (for example) your level of engagement with our games.  We also use your information in aggregate with other users who have similar backgrounds or gameplay. This is to ensure that all players are having an enjoyable and optimal experience.

We also use gameplay information to track your progress and may share it with third parties so that we and/or they can provide you with rewards and incentives that are relevant and of interest to you and your gameplay.

In-Game Purchases

We use information about payments made (through our payment processors) to process your payment and credit your account with virtual items that you have purchased.

Customer Support and Account Management

We may use information to provide support to you directly, or to assist with more general support deployed across the Service such as bug fixes. If you provide us with information via a service ticket, our support team will use this to assist you.

We may also use information about your account to enhance your experience with Salvo Sports, including allocating you an Account Manager. Account Managers may use information that you provide to assist with business management, including taking your feedback on Salvo Sports games, new features, and your gameplay experience. They may also use this information to invite you to Events.

Social Features and Chat Functions

Some of our games may have social features and chat functions. We may process information to enable these functions and enable you to connect with your family and friends. Some of the information we collect or process may be provided by third party platforms such as Facebook. For more details about how your social media information is shared, please visit your social media profile settings, and consult the platform's privacy policy.

Advertising

We may use information to assist with the integration of advertising with our games that have advertisements. We may also share your information with third parties, such as our advertising partners to assist with the functionality and targeting of adverts. Further details about how we use your information for advertising is available in the Advertising and Marketing section of this Policy.

Events

Any information collected at our Events may be used to assist us with the planning of future Events, our promotional activities, or your Account Manager's interactions with you.

We may use information about you and your gameplay to assist with our business management and business planning. For example, this gives us indications of how users interact with our Service and how Salvo Sports can develop and improve our games for our users and its marketing activities.

Affiliate Program(s)

Salvo Sports may initiate an affiliate program (“Affiliate Program”) which will afford you rewards if you recruit other users to our Services. We may use information about you to verify your recruitment efforts and implement your receipt of rewards, which implementation may be handled on behalf of Salvo Sports by a third party service provider with which your information may be shared.  The Affiliate Program will be subject to a separate dedicated Terms of Service.

HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

To provide you with our Services, we may share information about you within Salvo Sports, or with our service providers and business partners for analytics, marketing, and other business purposes. Some information about you may also be accessed by other users on 

INFORMATION THAT IS AVAILABLE TO OTHER USERS

You may choose to disclose information about yourself when using our Services when you contribute to or access chat rooms, blogs, message boards, player profiles, or similar functionalities. Some of these features may also include integration with third-party sites or services to enable you to communicate with other players (such as via private message or email).

Any information you provide via these features, including photos and videos, may potentially be accessed, read, watched, collected, stored and used by Salvo Sports and Salvo Sports users. Please see our Terms of Service for guidance and information about posting content through our Service.

To enable some of the social features of our Service, you may be able to import or manually enter information about your friends and family, so that you can connect with them on our Services or invite them to use the Services.

Some social features that are available where you play, register or log-in via a social media account, may share details of your Salvo Sports activity like gameplay, name, and profile photo with your social media account connections or friends. Similarly, if you use our Service in response to an invitation from another player via social media or otherwise, such as through an affiliate program, that player may see information about you and your gameplay, such as when you join and the levels you have achieved.

In Salvo Sports games, other players of the game may be able to see details about your gameplay, communicate with you and access your user profile and the information that is available on it. Other players may be able to send you game requests or social media account requests if you choose to integrate any of your social media accounts and/or Salvo Sports communication channels if social media integration options are made available by Salvo Sports.

THIRD PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS

Salvo Sports may use unaffiliated companies to support the Service we provide, for example, to assist us with processing payments, analyzing information, optimizing gameplay and enhancing player experience, e-mail delivery, hosting services, event services, security services, run our marketing campaigns and manage and deliver  contextual and tailored advertisements.

SALE OR MERGER

In the event that Salvo Sports seeks or undergoes restructuring of any kind including the sale, purchase, merger with and/or acquisition by another company, of any Salvo Sports asset, we may disclose relevant information we have to the other organizations involved in the transaction. We will make reasonable efforts to let you know if this occurs and how it impacts your information to the extent required by law.

PUBLICITY AND MARKET ANALYTICS

We may also publish aggregated and analytical information (information about you and other players collectively that is not intended to specifically identify any individual player, for example, players between the ages of 25 and 50 who live in the USA) and other anonymized information about our players. We do this to allow for industry analysis, demographic profiling, marketing, analytics, advertising, and other business purposes.

LEGAL OBLIGATIONS AND COMPLIANCE

We may share information to satisfy our legal obligations and comply with law enforcement.

Examples of when we may share information include:

• When we decide to disclose information in good faith in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements, or legal process (for example, a court order, search warrant or subpoena);
• To satisfy any laws, regulations, or mandatory codes of conduct that require us to disclose details about the information we collect;
• Where we have reason to believe that our Service is being used to commit a crime, we may share your information in pursuit of reporting and investigating the suspected criminal activity or to share further details with other companies and organizations for the prevention, report or investigation of suspected criminal activity. This may also include efforts to prevent fraud, to assist with credit risk reduction, and other security precautions. This disclosure will be at our sole discretion;
• When we have reason to believe that there is an emergency that poses a threat to the health and/or safety of any person, including our users, employees, or the public generally. This disclosure will be at our sole discretion;
• To protect the rights or property of Salvo Sports and other third parties, including to enforce our Terms of Service.

ADVERTISING AND MARKETING

We may use and share with our service providers and business partners information such as device identifiers and in-game events to run, measure and optimize our marketing campaigns (for example, show advertisements for our Services on other websites or apps).

In addition, Services may include advertisements from third party advertisers. These advertisers may collect and share some information, such as whether you click the a, to assist with their functionality and targeting.

We record whether you have consented to receiving promotional and marketing communications from us. If you have consented to receive marketing communications from us by email or text messages for example, we will use information we have collected about you and your interests, as well as your contact information to send you our marketing materials. Some of these marketing materials may also be delivered via our apps or in-game notifications.

ADVERTISING

To assist with the functionality and to personalize the ads you see on our Service, as well as run, measure and optimize our own marketing campaigns and undertake performance analytics, our advertising partners may collect (or we may share with them) the following types of information:

• Advertisement performance information (such as the number of clicks on an ad);
• Aggregated/de-identified information about players intended to help target ads but not directly identify individuals (for example that a player is between the ages of 35 and 55 and lives in New York);
• Technical information about the device used, such as IP addresses, IDFAs, GAIDs, and other device identifiers;
• Gameplay activity and game events, such as your level within a game and any purchases made; and
• Your social media identifiers.

Some of the information may be collected via cookies and other tracking technology. Our advertisers may use multiple forms of tracking technology at the same time.

If you click on an ad, you may be re-directed to a third party app or website, which may not be hosted on a site or app owned or operated by Salvo Sports. If you are playing via a third party platform such as via a social media platform, clicking on an ad may re-direct you to a third party platform which is no longer hosted by the social media provider or by Salvo Sports.

OPTING OUT OF EMAILS AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

If you wish to opt-out of promotional or marketing communications from Salvo Sports you can do so by:

• Clicking "unsubscribe" in any promotional email from a specific Salvo Sports Service to change and update your contact preferences for emails from us (please note that we may still contact you via email in relation to your account, for example for password resets or other account management);

If you wish to opt-out of push notifications from Salvo Sports you can do so by:

• Changing the settings within your social media platforms to turn off notifications from Salvo Sports via these platforms. For example, by turning off notifications from Salvo Sports on Facebook if integrated with Facebook; and
• Changing the settings on your device and/or browser to turn off push notifications from our Service. 

OPTING OUT OF TAILORED ADVERTISING

Depending on where you live and from where you access our Services, you may have a right in relation to opting out of third party tailored advertising. In such cases, if you wish to opt out of third-party tailored advertising, we provide a toggle in the settings of our apps to enable you to disable these ads at any time.

You may also opt-out of tailored advertising by adjusting the advertising tracking settings on your device(s). This can be done by resetting the advertising identifier on your device (such as the IDFA) or you may be able to download apps, such as the Digital Advertising Alliance’s “AppChoices” app, that may assist you in controlling the collection and use of cross-app information for tailored advertising.

Third party opt-out tools such as the AppChoices app are independently operated and owned. Salvo Sports does not control, operate, or endorse these tools or the choices that advertisers and others provide through these tools. They are listed here only as a convenience for players.

Salvo Sports does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals on any of the platforms that run our Service, if any.

Please note that you may still receive advertisements from Salvo Sports and third parties within Salvo Sports’ games even if you opt out of tailored advertising, but these ads will not be tailored to you.

GENERAL

This section contains some further information about how we look after your information, including how we keep your information secure, how long we hold your information for and the circumstances in which we may transfer your information internationally.

CHILDREN

We are committed to complying with child protection laws.  Where required by law to do so, we use age gates to prevent children from accessing our Services.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO PLAY?

Salvo Sports' Terms of Service restrict use of our games to users eighteen (18) years of age and older.

WHAT IS AN AGE GATE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

An age gate is a system that can be put in place to prevent users under a certain age from accessing apps and websites or to ensure different age groups get an appropriate experience.  Age gates may be required by law in certain countries in which Salvo Sports operates its Services.

If you are playing our game in a location requiring an age gate, a pop up will appear asking you to provide information about your age. This information is only used to verify you are old enough to play the game.

MY CHILD IS PLAYING A SALVO SPORTS GAME

Salvo Sports is committed to complying with laws protecting children. If you believe that your child has submitted any information to Salvo Sports or is playing a Salvo Sports game in breach of our Terms of Service and/or without your consent, please contact us at privacy@salvo-sports.com . We will take reasonable steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

UNITED STATES RESIDENTS

In addition to the terms of this Privacy Policy, certain US state laws require that we provide US residents with additional details about our privacy practices.

ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

The following disclosures supplement other disclosures in this Privacy Policy with additional information to which California residents are entitled under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Salvo Sports does not sell or share for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising the information of consumers under 16 years of age. We may de-identify information for analytics and advertising purposes, in which case we will not attempt to re-identify the information.

Policy of Financial Incentive. We offer incentives such as a rewards program that provides certain perks, such as rewards and exclusive offers, as well as other programs like sweepstakes or contests. For purposes of these programs, we may collect your name and contact information as well as information about your use of the Services. We may disclose, sell, or share this information as described above. These incentives or programs may be considered a “financial incentive” or “bona fide loyalty program” under U.S. state privacy laws.

If we are required by law to assign value to the information we obtain through such programs, we would value the information collected and used based on the value of sharing future offers tailored to your interest, the value of which may depend on the categories of information collected, and the product being offered or promoted.

Participation in any incentive program is voluntary, and by signing up for one, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in connection with the program. If you later wish to withdraw your consent, you can do so by contacting us, or otherwise following the instructions set forth in the specific program’s terms and conditions, if applicable.

Please note that if you choose to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your information or the use of your information for targeted advertising, your participation in our programs will not be affected and you will continue to receive all the benefits to which you are entitled. If you make a request to delete all of your information, however, we will no longer be able to provide you any program benefits because we will have no way to tie you to the benefits to which you were entitled or to contact you regarding them.

COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We may use cookies and other technologies to collect information about how you use our Service and website to assist us with things like improving our Service and targeting our advertising.

We may also deploy technology including Artificial Intelligence ("AI") for other purposes, such as to provide new features or assist with our Service functionality.

There are two types of cookies: Essential Cookies and Non-Essential Cookies. We use Essential Cookies to distinguish you from other users of our Salvo Sports website and to operate our website properly.

We may use technologies that (a) may be considered automated decision-making or profiling, and/or (b) include the processing of information as part of the training, testing and use of Artificial Intelligence (technology which mimics intelligent human behavior) to evaluate information that we collect (including, for example, in-game activity and communications within our Service) to improve our Service, for example, to facilitate customer support processes, conduct surveys. tailor our Service to your preferences and for other legitimate business purposes.

The law in certain countries gives individuals rights in relation to their information. These rights and how to exercise them in relation to Salvo Sports' Service are explained in further detail below. Before we comply with any request from you, we may ask for information, documents, or other evidence from you to confirm your identity. If you are unable to provide us with the evidence we require, we may be unable to comply with your request. We operate on this basis to prevent the fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise adverse disclosure, deletion, or other activity in relation to your information. Some jurisdictions allow you to submit your request through an authorized agent acting on your behalf. We may require agents to provide verification that they are acting on your behalf.  

In the United States, there are various ways to submit an opt-out request. For detail, please review the section above called Opting Out Of Tailored Advertising. Additionally, depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to submit an opt-out request via the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. The GPC signal is honored only at the device-level.
